Chuck Liddell - the Iceman - earlier announces his retirement from competitive MMA and the UFC. He retires from MMA after suffering a 3-match losing streak. Chuck is the former Light Heavyweight UFC World Champion and he defended his belt in convincing fashion four times. He is famous for his matches with Randy Couture and his rivalry with Tito Ortiz.
Chuck is regarded as being one of the greatest figures in MMA and UFC history and helped to put the sport on the map and bring it to its current level of international popularity. Chuck will continue to be involved with the UFC as Executive Vice President of Business Development.
