Demian states that he was happy with his performance but wishes he could have finished the fight. He felt nervous and anxious coming into the fight after his loss to Mark Munoz his last time out. Demian displayed greater versatility than in previous bouts, with his hands improving dramatically and demonstrating his move away from pure Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
His intentions post fight are to keep improving all around. He still has his eyes on another title fight against Anderson Silva, noting that the best strategy to beat the champ is to follow Chael Sonnen and get into Silva's face and prevent him from finding his rhythm.
Demian has also been lifting more and is putting on more muscle. He recommends plyometrics to build greater explosive power and not to life weights just to build mass.
