Chun is the son of Ip Man, the master who popularized Wing Chun Kung Fu and taught many masters, including Bruce Lee. Chun explains that the motivation of his students is to solve problems and become stronger. Chun teaches his martial art first as a health exercise rather than as a combative art. This extends to one's mental faculties. Chun continues to work hard to popularize his art and his organization boasts over 100,000 members, many of whom are non-Chinese.
