Munoz explains that he will have to stand and face Chris Leben for at least parts of the fight but he intends to impose his own game plan on the match rather than be left to 'stand and bang' with one of the experts of that particular style of fighting. His game plan is to use angles rather than just be left facing Leben, where the latter fighter excels as he seems to get tougher and more aggressive as he receives more damage.
Munoz highlights the importance of preparing well with quality sparring partners who are able to approximate the style and tactics of a real life opponent.
