Munoz talks about his childhood and how his excellence in sports brought him respect and confidence. He was an All-American wrestler and got into coaching before he met WEC / UFC fighter Urijah Faber. Invited to 'watch' a training session by Faber, Munoz found himself sparring with Randy Couture, his first ever exposure to MMA. Encouraged by Couture and Faber, Munoz began to explore BJJ and Muay Thai before making his MMA debut. Munoz is in the final stages of his preparation for his fight with Chris Leben at UFC 138.
